JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) — Two 17-year-olds had been arrested within the homicide of a 7-year-old boy in Jacksonville, becoming a member of 4 different males in connection to the capturing, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Workplace introduced.
Sheriff T.Okay. Waters stated the kids had been the gunmen, who pulled the set off, inflicting the dying of 7-year-old Breon Allen Jr. on Jan. 24.
The sheriff stated escalating violence between two rival road teams led to the deliberate assault on Breon’s cousin, 21-year-old gang affiliate Lafayette Mango Jr. Round 5 p.m., the kid was strolling alongside Mango, leaving a house when the 2 teenagers fired the lethal pictures from a dark-colored automobile.
Each Allen and Mango had been rushed to the hospital. Allen died from his accidents, whereas Mango was left critically injured.

4 different males— Keith Johnson, 21, Daniel Larkins, 20, Zharod Sykes, 24, and Keith Fields, 18 had been beforehand arrested for his or her involvement within the incident. On March 12, the division introduced that the boys are dealing with costs of second-degree homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide, and tried first-degree homicide.
Based on the sheriff’s workplace, Fields, Larkins and Sykes are all documented gang members, whereas Johnson is a documented gang affiliate.
“Now, we’ll stand alongside Breon’s family members and our State Legal professional’s Workplace because the perpetrators obtain the punishment they deserve. We won’t tolerate this evil in our group,” the sheriff’s workplace stated.
