    Police search for suspects in armed robbery of Florida jeweler

    HOMESTEAD, Fla. (WFLA) — Police are trying to find three armed males who they are saying held a jeweler and his household at gunpoint throughout a house invasion on Wednesday.

    In response to WTVJ, the incident passed off off Southwest 284th Avenue round 11 p.m.

    Deputies stated the proprietor of York Jewellery in Hialeah, York Valdes, was exterior the residence when a robber held him at gunpoint and introduced him again into the house.

    The robbers then proceeded to ransack the house, stealing valuables and a white Cadillac SUV earlier than fleeing.

    Valdes informed deputies that one of many robbers tried to power him to take them to the jewellery retailer so they may steal extra objects.

    In response to deputies, the jewellery retailer proprietor stated it was the primary time he had introduced house costly watches, as he normally leaves them on the retailer locked in a secure field.

    Deputies stated Valdes was capable of leap down from the second flooring and run for assist.

    The incident remains to be below investigation.
