    Trash services suspended throughout Northeast Florida as winter storm looms

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As a uncommon winter storm continues to inch its means towards Northeast Florida, extra metropolis and countywide providers are asserting how they’ll deal with the inclement climate.

    Round 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Waste Administration introduced that it could be suspending all residential, business, and roll-off assortment providers on Wednesday in Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns County.

    WM provides that its providers will resume on Thursday.

    Here’s a county-by-county breakdown of how trash providers will likely be affected.

    Clay County

    City of Orange Park Wednesday Yard Waste prospects will likely be serviced on Thursday (Jan. 23) Thursday trash prospects will likely be serviced on Friday (Jan 24).

    Business and roll-off prospects with service scheduled between Wednesday and Friday will likely be delayed by at some point, that means Wednesday prospects will likely be serviced on Thursday, Thursday prospects will likely be serviced on Friday, and Friday prospects will likely be serviced on Saturday.

    Duval County

    Business and roll-off prospects with common service days scheduled between Wednesday and Friday will likely be delayed by at some point.

    Wednesday prospects will likely be serviced on Thursday, Thursday prospects will likely be serviced on Friday, and Friday prospects will likely be serviced on Saturday.

    Nassau County

    Residential (Fernandina Seaside and WM subscription prospects), business, and roll-off prospects with common service days scheduled between Wednesday and Friday will likely be delayed by at some point.

    Wednesday prospects will likely be serviced on Thursday, Thursday prospects will likely be serviced on Friday, and Friday prospects will likely be serviced on Saturday.

    St. Johns County

    Business and roll-off prospects with common service days scheduled between Wednesday and Friday will likely be delayed by at some point.

    Wednesday prospects will likely be serviced on Thursday, Thursday prospects will likely be serviced on Friday, and Friday prospects will likely be serviced on Saturday.
