911 service down in Florida Keys; here’s who to call if you need help

KEY WEST, Fla. – 911 emergency phone companies have been down within the Florida Keys Friday afternoon, in keeping with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Workplace.

An MCSO information launch states that crews “are presently working to resolve the difficulty” as of three:45 p.m.

Folks needing emergency assist in Key West are being requested to name 305-809-1000, whereas these in the remainder of Monroe County have been requested to name 305-853-3211.

Authorities haven’t stated what led to the outage.
