SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA)— Two nice white sharks have made their option to the Sunshine State to hunt hotter waters.
“Crystal” was pinged far off of Sarasota on Jan. 3 at 7:35 p.m. close to the West Florida Escarpment.
The good white shark is a 10-foot-long feminine and weighs 460 kilos at tagging, in line with OCEARCH.
She was tagged on Mar. 14, 2022, at Lookout Shoals (outer), North Carolina as a juvenile.
Crystal was named after North Carolina’s Crystal Coast, which is the place they have been in a position to tag her, in line with OCEARCH.
Throughout Expedition Carolinas 2022, Crystal was OCEARCH’s first and solely white shark studied.
“Keji” one other nice white shark was pinged within the Gulf of Mexico close to the West Florida Escarpment.
Keji is a 9-foot, 7-inch nice white shark and weighed 578 kilos at tagging, in line with OCEARCH.

Keji was the ninth shark tagged on Expedition Nova Scotia 2021 and was their 82nd shark studied.
