COCOA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA)— A 12-year-old was airlifted to a hospital after a suspected shark chunk at Cocoa Seashore, NBC affiliate WESH said.
The Brevard County Hearth Rescue responded to the 2000 block of East Cocoa Seashore Causeway round 12:30 p.m.
“I regarded up and I noticed a double pink flag which suggests no swim, which often means there’s been a shark chunk, or one thing alongside these strains,” Teresa Northup stated.
WESH stated the 12-year-old boy was airlifted to a trauma heart in Orlando for emergency care.
